Founded by clinicians, the company’s mission is to deliver healthcare closer to people’s homes, reducing the need for hospital visits and, thus, reducing waiting times.

The Company has developed a digital ‘telehealth’ platform which is capable of providing a remote diagnostic solution in many areas of medicine, covering the symptom complexes that are most often referred to outpatient appointments. The software was developed by over 40 senior clinical consultants.

The technology platform makes more efficient use of clinical consultants’ time by:

• Gathering patient data remotely from the consultant

• Allowing the consultant to access patient data remotely thus significantly reducing the number of patients needing consultations in person

• Mechanising the consultant’s diagnostic process, such that an opinion letter back to a GP can be created electronically.

Teledermatology is the first service deployed by the company, designed with advice from Consultants at the Welsh Institute of Dermatology. A crucial design feature of the company’s software is that NHS bodies can easily access our web architecture, making an ideal platform for the delivery of community teledermatology services.
